Born in San Bernardino raised in Monterey California, Samantha, since early childhood, always had a natural talent for the performing arts. She always knew it was her calling to be onstage making people happy. Music and dance is always changing and she has been on the cutting edge and relentlessly perfecting her craft ever since. Samantha Starr is a hot commodity and her unique style is unmatched.
Samantha is a trained dancer whose journey began at the tender age of 7 and her professional career followed shortly thereafter. She has trained under many elite instructors. Samantha is a master of dance including but not limited to: Jazz, Modern, Ballet, African, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Cuban, Middle Eastern, Belly Dance, Brazilian Samba, LA Latin (Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha, Cumbia, Merengue), Ballroom (Cha Cha Cha, Mambo, Swing, WC Swing, Bolero, Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot) Commercial, Modern Pop, Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, and Flamenco. Samantha has been invited all over the U.S. to teach to packed classes before joining Fox Dance Studio in Redlands, CA. Samantha’s latest project is her party planning company, Panache Entertainment.
Due to her own diligence and experience, she has been featured on several hit music videos with some of the biggest names in music. She recently was a featured dancer in the Emmy Award winning show, Benise Strings of Passion, where she did two international tours in China then Turkey. Samantha has performed all over the World and across the United States to packed venues and thousands of fans and followers.
A top ranked dancer in many salsa dance competitions, Samantha Harrison was a finalist in the Latin Dance Championships at the World famous Conga Room, televised live on Univision. She ranked high in the famous salsa competitions at Club Mayan in Los Angeles, Steven’s Steakhouse in Commerce, Mama Juana’s in Universal City and Sevilla’s of Long Beach. She also featured as a dancer on hit latin tv shows such as, Tengo Talento Mucho Talento and Lagramita y Costel on Estrella TV.
Not only can she do but she can teach! This professional dancer's teaching career began in 2003 at Arthur Murray of Orange, CA teaching ballroom dance. From there she went on to teach for John Lopez at Orange Ballroom for the next 10 years. Meanwhile she broke into the salsa scene with a bang teaching and performing all over Los Angeles and at many Salsa/Bachata Congresses and Festivals including LA Salsa Congress, Las Vegas Salsa Congress, and Palm Springs Salsa/Bachata Festival.
Samantha Starr began her singing career with famed cumbia group, Bombonenas. She is currently a featured artist singing and rapping on the acclaimed hit album Good Vs. Evil by Michael ACE.
